Tickets for the annual Alan C. Pope High School Fine Arts Showcase at Georgia State University’s Rialto Center for the Performing Arts are now available!

Tickets MUST be purchased by December 3, 2008, but you are encouraged to purchase your tickets early to ensure that you don't miss this incredible event. Please download the Rialto ticket order form HERE.

This annual event, scheduled for 8:00 PM on Friday December 12, 2008, features combined performances and displays by our own Advanced Orchestra, Chorus, Symphonic 1 Band and Visual Arts students. You don't want to miss it!

Reminder - The deadline for placing an ad or personal message in the 2008 Rialto program is quickly approaching. All ads must be received by Tuesday, November 18, 2008.

You can download the order form HERE.

The annual Alan C. Pope High School Fine Arts Showcase is scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2008 at 8:00 PM, at Georgia State University’s Rialto Center for the Performing Arts.  Pope students will be showcased in a combined performance by the Band, Chorus and Orchestra with a display of artwork from Pope’s Art Department.

Congratulations To Xavier Foley

Congratulations to Xavier Foley, Freshman at Pope High School!

Xavier was prominently featured on the cover of the FALL MUSICALE : 15th Anniversary Talent Development Program.  On November 1, he played a mesmerizing Double Bass Concerto in D Major by Johann Baptist Vanhal in a packed Richard H. Rich Theatre at the Woodruff Arts Center.

Great job Xavier!

Rialto Rehearsal Schedule

Rialto rehearsals are scheduled for:

  • Tuesday - December 2nd
  • Thursday - December 4th
  • Thursday  - December 11th

All Rialto rehearsals are from 4:00PM to 5:30PM and will be in the Band room.
